Olympic Event

The Olympic Event we had at our school.

Does your guys schools do Olympic events?

On the 13th of October pt England school done an Olympic event on our school field.

We were in countries. The country that I was in was Fiji B. I like the group I was in we worked together and we worked as a team. We had different kind of sports we had to do. The first sport Fiji B done was Tug of war. We won the game of tug of war. We had to say bulla when we pulled like Bulla, Bulla.

The next game we done was dodge ball. We all were about to run for the ball but if we ran and the other team got a ball and we were running they will get us out so we stayed back and dodged and caught the ball and threw when the ball got to us. The other team won because lots of us keep on getting out.

We had heaps of fun at the end of the day we put plated on our heads and it showed a photo of us with the Olympic colour. It was such so much fun.

Have you guys ever been Camping for a week?

On  A sunny day we went camping for my Mother's Day.

While we were in our heating car we were looking for a good place to camp.

When we had found a camping spot for us to camp.

It was getting dark so we made fire. We had dinner and went and set our tents up.

The next day we decided to go for a bush walk.

We got a bit lost. We went through a straight walkway

But when we were trying to find our way back to the campsite we were going through zig zag

Walkways. I thought it was weird so I told dad “ We had gone through straight walkways.”

He said “ I think we went through the wrong path.”

My little brother saw a tent but he thought someone else lived there. He said ask them if they know where to go to get to vanau. But we were calling out and my brother said “ It looks exactly like our camp site.”

I said to him “ It is our campsite then we had packed all our gears and driven home.

Have you guys ever been fishing? I haven’t it is my first time I'm a bit frightened.  Well my family decided to go fishing on a Saturday afternoon I was trying to deny going but I would of been a spoiler so I went.

On our way to Mission Bay beach I was thinking what would it be like fishing. Like would the fish jump on the boat and bite,  a shark bump the boat and we all fall? I had no idea what it was going to be like. When I was going on to the boat it was wiggling because of the waves and I thought it was a fish so I jumped back onto surf.

I got on the boat at we went out of shore and we caught quite a lot of fish. My dad had got a really big fish. He said, “This is what we call fishing.”

I had remembered that Hiwi the kiwi came to Pt england school and said, “If you get a big fish it could have a baby,” he said. “That could be true so he safely put it back in the ocean.”

I also said to him “ Wash it in Sea Water.”

He said “ how do you know all of these stuff you have never been fishing.”

I said Hiwi the Kiwi came to our school.”

He said“ they have taught you right.”

Paul Martin

Did you know that team 4 classes at Pt England school had a special visitor? He had came to our school yesterday the 22nd of June. His name was Paul Martin. As you all probably know he used to play for the Waikato Chiefs and he is also an author of comic books!”The Adventure of Kory”

When we found out that Paul Martin was coming to our class we all were excited. He had entered our classroom and talked more about him and introduced  himself. Paul had got a white board marker and showed us different positions like left, right, back and  front it surprised me I was impressed when I saw it

Paul and Mr Somerville was picking two people from each class so Paul could teach them a little bit to draw a kiwi with them even though some of us missed out we enjoyed watching them draw a kiwi. It looked hard I probably wouldn't get half way through.

My favourite part of the day was when we all gotta draw with everyone.

I will Like to say a big Thank you to Paul Martin for coming to our school and teaching us more about art.

Have you ever seen someone in such danger?

There was a woman working at her shop and she was serving her customers. One of her customers was the mayor and he had the most powerful diamond in his pocket. Because he was going to take it to the museum and on the way he wanted to stop in the shop. The Joker had appeared and was threatening the Mayor and the shopkeeper trying to get the diamond of the Mayor. But the mayor didn't give it so the Joker took the shopkeeper all the way up on the sky tower the shopkeeper was scared. Her fear was hights but the Joker didn't care cause he just wanted the diamond.

The Joker had yelled “GIVE ME THE DIAMOND OR I’LL DROP HER DOWN”.

The Mayor was gonna give it but wonder woman appeared and secretly whispered to the Mayor don't give it.

So the mayor listened and didn't give it but the Joker dropped her and Wonder woman zoomed up and catches her and took her back to her shop carefully and went back up and defeated the Joker

Team 4 term movie

Have you ever seen your teachers be heros? I have they were so cool that they saved a chromebook!

There name was the Teacher Avengers!

Once upon a time there was a bear called bear Baxendine! The costume he was wearing was a cape, glasses and he was bear! He was a thief he tried to steal one of our school student chromebook and our student name is Bobby john. There was 2 teacher girl heros there acter was Mature super heros They tried but lost the fight!

Bear baxendine tied the amature super heros up to the pole! They said to bear baxendine he won’t get away with this but he didn't believe them. He was not expecting the rest of the heros to go after him and get the chromebook! While he was resting on the bin the rest of the teacher avengers came Mr Somerville was team leader of America, Mr Godwin was batman and Mrs Lavakula was Wonder woman.

They had competed towards bear baxendine. They had smashed bear Baxendine and saved the chromebook. So the next day bobby john had his chromebook to do his school work.

Did you know that on Thursday the 7th of April 2016 Pt England school had Fiafia?

There were 18 groups that performed!

The group that I was in was the Nissan Fusion!

With the sticks and hip hop as well.

The hip hop was surprising to Pt England school because Nissan Fusion usually just does the stick.

Room 6 literacy class assignment for this week was to go on other people blogs and comment on their camp story. The first persons blog I want on was Deavay. I like that he gave lots of details. then I thought this story was intresting. It was something that hooked me on reading it all the time. The second persons blog I had read was Justice. The babysitter went to report that Jack Jack had something wrong with the baby
and the man thought she was crazy so he head shot her. The baby was hiding doing stuff that normal baby's don't do.

Living with Volcanos

My Narrative Writing

Once upon a time me and My friends to Australia for a holiday.

My friends decided “we should go to the fun park”.

so we went to the fun park and saw lots of Activities like a show,games and many more. we had just finished watching a show and we started walking around.

We had saw two volcanoes one looked like a lady and one looked like a man

they were obviously happy they had a smile on their face.

there was lava coming out with lava rocks and it was shacking we thought it was apart of the theme but it was a volcano erupting we were in an earthquake we did not like it cause there was a lot of people dying.

When the earthquake had stopped we went straight to the airport and catched the 1st plane back to Auckland.

On Tuesday the 9th of February 2016 we had a duffy theater.

it is when 3 characters come to Pt england school and encourage us to read because reading helps you alot.

The characters make it a show so we would read and be like a boy name Duffy. My favorite part was when Duffy made a time Machine so he can save Ruby’s dad so she wouldn’t have to clean and help her mum instead of going to school so Ruby can read to her kids.
